The National Testing Agency (NTA) has implemented the APAAR ID (Authentication, Profiling as well as Access for Applicant Registration) as a crucial element of the NEET UG 2025 registration procedure. • The University Grants Commission (UGC) has mandated that all HEIs upload the credit data from the past three years onto the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) portal by June 2025.

5. Current Progress:

• As of March 2024, 1,855 academic institutions have registered on the ABC portal.
• More than 40 million students have enrolled on the platform, enabling easy access to their consolidated academic records.

3. Identity Authentication: The identity of the student will authenticated and confirmed via the school.
4. Creation of APAAR ID: Upon successful verification, the APAAR ID will generated.
5. At last, secure Access: The newly generated APAAR ID will stored in DigiLocker for secure and convenient online access.

NTA’s Recommendations:

The NTA recommends that all candidates:

• Ensure that their Aadhaar information is current and free of errors.
• Generate their APAAR ID well in advance of the registration deadline to prevent any last-minute complications.
