Tripura CM Reviews NEET UG Exam

On Friday, Chief Minister Manik Saha of Tripura held a high-level meeting to evaluate the state’s preparedness for the NEET UG 2025 examination, which is set to take place on Sunday, May 4. The meeting occurred in the video conference hall of the secretariat and included prominent officials such as Chief Secretary JK Sinha, DCP (Intelligence) Anurag, Special Secretary of the Education Department Ravel Hemendra Kumar, and Home Secretary Apurba Roy.

The discussions centered on improving logistical operations and enhancing security measures at examination centers to ensure a seamless and secure testing environment. Officials reported that all examination centers have been thoroughly inspected, with District Magistrates and Superintendents of Police overseeing safety arrangements to avert any disruptions.

An official press release indicated that 4,892 students from Tripura are expected to participate in the NEET UG 2025 exam, which will be held at 11 centers across the stateโ€”10 in West Tripura district and one in Dhalai district. Key centers in West Tripura include Maharaja Bir Bikram College, Banividyapith Girlโ€™s Higher Secondary School, and Kendriya Vidyalaya Kunjaban-I. In Dhalai district, the Kamalpur Government English Medium Higher Secondary School has been designated as the examination center.

Chief Minister Saha reaffirmed the government’s dedication to ensuring a secure and efficient examination environment for all prospective medical students, highlighting the significance of thorough preparation and collaboration among various departments.
