NEET UG Registration is to Begin in February: The registration process for the National Testing Agency (NTA) NEET UG 2025 is scheduled to commence in February, although delays have been reported due to the examination leak scandal from the previous year. However, aspiring medical students are keenly awaiting the official announcement from the National Testing Schedule. Meanwhile, in response, authorities are working diligently to implement more stringent measures aimed at preventing malpractice.
To ensure a fair and transparent examination process for NEET UG 2025, the NTA is instituting significant security enhancements. In light of previous concerns regarding the integrity of the examination, officials are reinforcing protocols to avert any potential leaks. NTA Implements Enhanced Security Measures for NEET UG 2025
To safeguard the integrity of the NEET 2025 Examination, the NTA has adopted rigorous security protocols to deter any professional misconduct.
- Aadhaar Integration and APAAR ID Update: The NEET 2025 registration process will now incorporate Aadhaar authentication. Facilitating candidate verification and minimizing fraudulent applications. Furthermore, the introduction of the APAAR (Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry) intended to establish a consolidated academic record for students. Allowing for seamless access to their educational credentials (not mandatory).
- Changes to Exam Pattern: The NEET UG exam pattern has revised to revert to the pre-COVID format. Featuring 180 questions and the removal of section B. This adjustment simplifies the structure, ensuring consistency and reducing ambiguity in the selection process.
- Creation of ABC ID for Digital Security: By generating a unique Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) ID. Candidates will be able to securely access their records and verify their credentials with ease. This initiative enhances transparency and efficiency in the NEET UG admission process.
