NEET UG 2025: No Aadhar Match, No Exam!

No Aadhar Match No Exam

No Aadhar Match No Exam: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is scheduled to hold the NEET UG 2025 examination on May 4. This year, the agency has implemented more rigorous verification protocols at examination centers to ensure a fraud-free environment. Candidates whose Aadhaar Card information does not align with the details provided during the NEET application process will be disqualified. For the first time, the NTA will also utilize mandatory facial recognition technology to confirm the identities of candidates.

No Aadhar Match No Exam

The NTA has emphasized that students must ensure their Aadhaar details correspond precisely with the information submitted in their NEET application. If the Aadhaar verification fails at the examination center, candidates will be prohibited from participating in the test. This stringent measure is a response to previous instances of impersonation. The introduction of facial recognition technology will provide an additional verification layer; failure to pass this check may result in denial of entry to the examination center.

Stricter Regulations Due to Fraud Incidents

In light of recent impersonation cases, particularly a notable incident in Bihar where the CBI filed a complaint in January 2025 involving four students using impersonators, the NTA has tightened its regulations. To mitigate the risk of similar fraudulent activities, the agency has made the use of facial recognition technology compulsory.

Key Dates: City Slip and Admit Card Availability

Candidates will be able to download their exam city slip from the official NTA website starting April 26 by entering their date of birth and application number. Admit cards will released on May 1, just three days prior to the examination. The NEET UG 2025 will take place at over 105 centers across 35 cities in Bihar.

Improved Security Measures at Examination Centers

To enhance security, the NTA has instructed local authorities to designate examination centers exclusively within government buildings. In previous years, some private CBSE schools utilized; however, due to concerns regarding paper leaks, the agency now prioritizing safer, government-operated venues. These centers will equipped with advanced CCTV surveillance and upgraded identification verification systems.

Guidelines for a Seamless Entry on Exam Day

Candidates advised to update and confirm their Aadhaar information prior to the examination. The details must align precisely with those on the NEET application form. A clear facial scan and a valid photo identification are mandatory. Arriving ahead of schedule and bringing all necessary documents will help prevent any last-minute complications.

The Importance of Face Recognition This Year

The implementation of face recognition technology designed to prevent impersonation and ensure that only authentic candidates participate in the examination. The National Testing Agency’s initiative underscores its dedication to upholding the integrity and transparency of the examination process.
