NEET UG, Do’s and Don’ts: The National Testing Agency (NTA) commenced the registration process for NEET UG 2025 on February 7, 2025, accessible via the official website, www.neet.nta.nic.in. The deadline for submitting applications is March 7, 2025, with the examination scheduled for May 4, 2025.

Prior to submitting their applications for the NEET 2025 examination, all candidates are advised to thoroughly review the NEET UG information bulletin, familiarize themselves with the instructions, verify their eligibility, and ensure that all necessary documents and information are prepared. Below are several important considerations to keep in mind.

Do’s and Don’ts While applying for NEET UG

  • After completing your application form, it is essential to generate and download the confirmation page. The deduction of fees from your bank account does not serve as proof of payment; it must be accompanied by the confirmation page. Please note that once the application is submitted, it cannot withdrawn, and the examination fee, once paid, will not refunded or transferred to a subsequent examination.
  • Ensure that all personal information, including the names of parents and candidates, accurately spelled. Additionally, have your class 12 admit card with a photograph and a valid government identification card number, date of birth, address, mobile number, and email address ready. Review the sample application form provided in Appendix-XV of the information bulletin prior to filling out your form.
  • The candidate must provide one of the following identity details listed below:

Indian Nationals10+2 Admit Card, Aadhaar Card, Election Card (EPIC No.), Ration Card, Bank Account Passbook with Photograph, Passport Number or Number of any other photo Identity Card issued by Government.
Foreign National/OCIPassport Number/Citizenship Certificate Number
NRIsPassport Number

  • Candidates, required to complete both their correspondence and permanent addresses, including the pin code, email address, and mobile number. The mobile number and email ID should belong to the candidate or their parent/guardian.
  • Avoid providing the address and contact details (contact number/email address) of coaching centers, internet cafés, or similar establishments.
  • Do not submit the application form in offline mode, as it will not accepted.
  • Candidates, not required to send the confirmation page of the application form to the NTA. However, it is advisable to keep at least four copies of the confirmation page and proof of fee payment for future reference.
  • If you are a candidate from the Union Territories of Ladakh and Jammu & Kashmir, you must submit an online self-declaration for seats under the 15 percent All India quota.
  • Prepare the following scanned images in the specified format as required for NEET UG 2025 documentation.
