Chandigarh Set up New Exam Centres: The NEET UG 2025 examination is scheduled for May 4. However, the Chandigarh administration has finalized all necessary preparations for this significant event. Approximately 4,500 candidates are expected to participate at 11 examination centers throughout the city.
Commissioners Conduct Special Meeting to Assess Preparations
Commissioner Nishant Kumar Yadav convened a special meeting to evaluate the arrangements for the exam. Moreover, district-level officials attended the meeting to discuss every aspect of the plan. The Deputy Commissioner instructed officials to adhere strictly to the guidelines set forth by the National Testing Agency (NTA) as well as the Ministry of Education.

CCTV cameras will installed at all examination centers, with a control room at the Deputy Commissioner’s office monitoring live feeds to ensure smooth operations. Further, the Chandigarh police have given explicit directives to enhance security and manage traffic around the examination centers to prevent any confusion or issues on the day of the exam.

The Deputy Commissioner has urged officials to facilitate students’ arrival at the centers without any difficulties. The administration will implement biometric attendance, thorough checks, and stringent anti-cheating measures. Officials will remain vigilant and prepared to address any unforeseen circumstances. The Deputy Commissioner also appealed to students and parents for their cooperation in this process.
Special Provisions for Students at Examination Centers
The administration aims to create a calm and equitable environment for the examination. Basic amenities such as drinking water, clean restrooms, and other essential services have arranged at the centers. Dedicated teams will be on hand to promptly resolve any technical issues or other concerns that may arise.
