NEET Postgraduate 2024 Reservation Policy
- Candidates classified as NRI, in accordance with the directives of the Honorable Supreme Court of India in the case (W.P. No. 689/2017 – Consortium of Deemed Universities in Karnataka (CODEUNIK) and Anr. Vs Union of India and Ors.) dated 22-08-2017, are eligible for NRI category seats. OCI/PIO/Foreign Nationals may only apply for NRI seats.

Central Universities/Institutes
- The counselling process will consist of four rounds: Round 1, Round 2, a Mop-up round, and a stray vacancy round, all of which will organized by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
- All candidates who qualify for the All India quota seats based on their NEET PG rank, as conducted by the NBE, will be eligible for 50% of the AIQ seats at central universities.
- The eligibility criteria for the internal quota are determined by the respective colleges and institutes; the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) does not influence the eligibility conditions for internal allotments at these institutions.
- Should any candidate found to have provided false or misleading information regarding their eligibility at any point during the counselling process, their candidature will be revoked for subsequent rounds, and their security deposit will be forfeited.
- During the Mop-up round for central universities and institutes, seat conversions will occur only after candidates from the specified category have fully accommodated. The algorithm for category modification is outlined as follows:
NEET Postgraduate 2024 Delhi University
