New Delhi: The National Testing Agency has announced that the NEET UG medical entrance examination, scheduled for May 4, 2025. As one of the largest entrance examinations, NEET-UG 2025 will play a crucial role in shaping the futures of approximately 2 million students seeking admission to medical institutions in India.
This examination is essential for securing placements in medical colleges nationwide, with around 108,000 MBBS seats available—56,000 in government institutions and 52,000 in private ones. Additionally, it serves as the qualifying test for BDS, Ayurveda, Unani, and Siddha programs.
The registration and application process commenced on the evening of February 7 and will remain open until March 7, 2025.
